Adding Products to your shop
For products to appear in you customers shop catalogue, you need to set up your product in 4 places within Cybake
Step 1. Product Categories and Category Groups
*A product category group is required that contains all shop products. If you already have one you can use skip steps 1-3:
- In Cybake go to Products / Product / Product Categories and Category Groups
- Create a 'Category Group' called 'Shop Products'
-
Add sub categories of products eg 'Sour Dough Bread' and add all the products you want to appear on your online shop.
Step 2. My Shop
Head to Admin / My Shop and click 'Products setup'
Choose the Category Group you made previously:
Then at the bottom add the same products to this page.
If needed add images and change the external descriptions.
Products ticked as 'Popular' appear at the top of the list for the customer.
Step 3. Customer Layouts
If you need to assign specific products to certain customers, you will need to set up screen templating, otherwise all products which are added to the My Shop part of this setup will be available to view.
Please see our guide on setting up a layout for a customer:
Guide - Shop/Inbound Product Templates
Step 4. Price List
Customers will also need to be assigned to a Price List
Please see our guide on Pricelists
Shop Catalogue
Shop Catalogue On Order Screens allows your customers to view their catalogue of products applied permanently on their Shop Order screens.
Setup
To switch on the setting for all customers, select Yes to Show Catalogue on Order Screens
You also have the option to enable/disable this setting per customer:
Next we run through the three configurations that can be setup:
No Templating
A blank customer Screen Layout will display all Products that have been setup in the My Shop setup:
Templating product days
To restrict product availability on specific days, just apply your products to the layout as you would and disable a products availability through the customer Screen Layout
Below the availability for the White Rolls on Sunday is disabled:
Which removes the Order Line from Sundays delivery in Shop
Restrict Shop To Price List
The Restrict Shop To Price List setting will template the customers order screen with products from the Customers assigned Price List:
N.B To restrict access to ordering on the 'No Templating' and 'Restrict Shop To Price List' setting you can remove the customer from a route for the Order date. This will prevent them from ordering anything on those days.
Locking Times
Please see our Guide - Screen Locking and Override Locking
Your shop should now be live and the customers should only be able to order products you've chosen.
Please be aware that changes you make in Cybake may take a couple of minutes to appear in your online shop. You may need to log out and back in.
