Product Groups
Product Groups are used when searching for products in Cybake for searching for products and reporting purposes. To add a group, write the name in the New Product Group box on the left and click the tick icon. Once your group is made, you can add products using Add Products to Group:
On the next screen search for products you want to add at the top and use the arrows to move it to the group on the right. Select Add Products To [Group] to save. Products with a warning are already in another group, if you move it into this group it will be removed from the original one:
N.B. Cybake has two ways to organise products: The first is with Product Groups that are standalone groups used in Cybake to find products, as well as to make screen layouts/templates. They are also used in Instore. The second way is with Product Categories (and Category Groups) which are used to filter outputs and for discounts. |
Categories & Category Groups
With Product Categories and Category Groups you can organise products into two levels which are used to filter outputs. To begin select Add Category Group:
Give the group a name and choose whether you want to include any unassigned categories (Available Product Categories):
Select Add Product Category to create a category under this group:
To add products to the category, search for them in Available Products then drag them with your mouse to Included Products and select Save:
To change the name of a group or category select the pen icon, or to delete a category/group that contains no products, select X. The right-hand panel is a list of products assigned to a different category in a group, so you can keep track of where your products are categorised.
N.B. A product cannot be in more than one category in a category group. |
