Routes
**You can add up to 148 drops (150 which includes the start/ point of delivery) per route**
To setup routes go to the Routes Setup page. Here there is a 7-day view of your delivery routes, where you can add, remove and change the sequence of drops. To add a route click Manage Routes:
Here you will see a list of all your routes. Select the pen icon to change the name or X to delete it. Selecting Add New Route will bring up a new route at the bottom of the list. Give the route a name, select the tick and save:
After the route is saved you can add customers to it by selecting the date, the route and which delivery it is for:
Search for the customer to add and you will see the option to add them to the selected day (you can filter customers by those not on a route /with orders). Having no day will give you the option to add them to all 7-days in the view
To change the customer sequence on a day drag them up or down the list. Clicking on a customer will allow you to remove them from that day by using the X icon:
To make a temporary change to the route for a day choose Temp and choose whether you want to copy the current route drops to the temporary one:
Make your change to the route day and save. A warning icon will then show that indicates that the route has a temporary change on this day. Click delete to remove the temporary route change, which will revert it back to its original state:
At the bottom, you can select Organise to see a map view of your route. The clock icon will sort the route by delivery time, if times are set:
The map view shows all drops on the route on a map. Optimize By Time will sort the route by delivery time, Calculate Optimised Time sorts by postcode, Calculate Route doesn't re-sort but will suggest alternative routes between the drops to reduce time. At the bottom there is the option to Only show customers with orders on (this will create a temporary route). Click Save when you are finished:
Clicking Routes/ Daily allows you to quickly reorganise your routes for a particular day rather than across a week. You can drag drops between routes, as well as add drops at the bottom:
N.B. To open the map view please make sure that the customers have a Default Delivery Address that has a generated Geocode. |
